PCCBS Conference, 3-5 March 2017, Victoria, BC, Canada

PCCBS invites you to its 2017 conference at the lovely Inn at Laurel Point, Victoria, BC, Canada, on 3-5 March 2017. Highlights include plenary addresses by Nadja Durlach (University of Utah) entitled “Tommy’s Tummy: National Tastes and the Provisioning of WWI Prisoners” and Margo Todd (University of Pennsylvania) entitled “Weather, Finance, and Urban Religious Dissent in Early Modern Scotland.” The conference begins and ends with panels on “Brexit and British Culture” and “Brexit and Britain.”

PCCBS 2017 – Program

The deadline for registration and payment at the discounted rate ($110 faculty/$45 students) is 15 February 2017. Even if you prefer to pay on site at the meeting, please return the registration form to Treasurer Patty Seleski ASAP so that we know what catering arrangements need to be made for the plenary lunch on Saturday. If you are unable to attend, please remember to send your annual dues ($20 faculty/$10 students)!
